Most of you probably know we took a 2 1/2 week trip to Indonesia between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We were visiting Jon's brother's family, as they live there full-time. We had lots of interesting and fun experiences, and best of all, we got to spend time with family we hadn't seen in a year and a half. While we were there, we started typing up a brief outline of what we did, but it has yet to be finished. Perhaps when it's done, we'll actually give you the details of our trip.
We got home a couple weeks before Christmas, so it was a bit of a rush to get everything together for the many Christmas parties, dinners, and family get-togethers that accompany the holiday season. We stayed home for New Year's and just had some friends over, which was lots of fun. Have we mentioned that we really like our friends? 'Cause we do.
Since then, we've just been getting back into a normal routine. Ryan's constantly saying and doing new things, making it hard for me to keep up with the camera. Emily's growing bigger, while I struggle to find the time and energy to get things organized before her arrival.
So that's the super condensed version of what we've been up to lately. I'm sure that if I actually updated this thing more than once every 3 months, I wouldn't have to cram so much into one post. Maybe when I have 2 kids, it'll be easier, right?
